Record fields and source

Pages may display a business name, reported city and state, category associations, website, and phone. Records are supplied by the shared Pool Builders Hub directory service. A displayed field should be verified directly with the business and against current official records before it affects a hiring decision.

Ordering and coverage

Listings are not ordered by quality or recommendation. Coverage varies by market, and the absence of a company does not imply anything about that company. A state page links to its complete available city hierarchy so location URLs are discoverable without relying on the XML sitemap.

Indexing controls

Empty state pages and city pages with fewer than three records are marked noindex, follow. Indexed city pages still need useful visible records, a clear local hierarchy, and homeowner guidance. We periodically review thin pages as the source data changes.

Verification checklist

• Match the marketing name to the legal contracting identity.
• Check current licensing or registration in the applicable official system.
• Request current insurance evidence and comparable recent references.
• Confirm service area, availability, project-system experience, supervision, and warranty route.
• Compare written proposals against the same drawings, scope, products, assumptions, and closeout requirements.
